The Samoset 30 is designed as a “Gentleman’s Day Boat,” perfect for day trips, fishing and pleasure.

The main design requirements were for the Samoset 30 to be stable – at rest and underway – and dry riding. She is entirely built of wood, using the cold molding process. She has the feel of a wooden boat but doesn’t require the maintenance of traditionally built wooden boats.
